The Glens Falls Middle School serves all students in Grades 5 through 8 in the Glens Falls City School District. Although our students come from a variety of elementary experiences, we come together as One Tribe in the Middle School. The GFMS staff is committed to developmentally appropriate middle level instruction which is designed to foster intellectual curiosity and socially appropriate interactions. We are proud of our designation as one of New York state’s 13 Essential Elements: Schools to Watch. This designation is the result of exemplary ratings on each of the following domains: Developmental Responsiveness, Social Equity, Organization and Structure & Academic Excellence.

In addition to our constant focus on academic excellence, the GFMS staff is proud to offer an extensive range of athletic options, extracurricular clubs and activities and numerous opportunities for our students to make a difference in their local, national and global communities.

We welcome parents and community members to become involved in our school. You may do this by becoming involved with our PTSA, visiting the school to observe, or volunteering for one of the numerous standing or ad hoc school committees or events.

Please feel free to contact any of the middle school team should you need any further assistance.
