Congratulations to GFMS seventh-grader Hayley Stafford, who won the district competition of the Elks National Hoop Shoot contest!
Hayley won the 12-13 age group title by making 20 of 25 baskets in the second round of the annual free-throw shooting contest. She now goes on to compete in regionals, which are set for Feb. 2 at Stillwater High School. If she moves on from there, the New York State Hoop Shoot is set for March 7 in Syracuse.
