Glens Falls High School’s Cast With Care is stepping up to help others within the community.
The school’s knitting and crochet club created and donated 14 scarves and one shawl to the C.R. Wood Cancer Center at Glens Falls Hospital, and they’re only getting started. The club hopes to continue to produce more scarves and shawls that can be donated for patients receiving treatment at the facility.
The students involved in Cast With Care include Ella Cavas, Kate Crandall, Claire Cygan, Kendall Gross, Gabrielle Houde, Julia Kress, Abbey O’Hara, Sophia Plante, Marissa Roberts, Ava Rowland, Natalia Steves, and Hailey Sutliff.
Club advisor Erin Wever was instrumental in helping organize the donation, and we’re excited to see what else the group has in store this school year!
