15 GFHS students earn AP Scholar Awards

Fifteen Glens Falls High School students have earned AP Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievement of AP Exams. The College Board recognizes several levels of achievement based on students’ performances on AP Exams.

Four students qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken and grades of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams. These students are:

  • Nathan D. Kroeze
  • Brock A. Layden
  • Jacqueline E. Young

Eleven students qualified for the AP Scholar Award by completing 3 or more AP Exams with grades of 3 or higher. These students are:

  • William A. Florio
  • Liam M. Gormley
  • Griffin J. Jones
  • Scott A. Jones
  • Coleman J. Leland
  • Stephanie M. Meehan
  • Catherine T. Montgomery
