COVID guidance/protocols for the 2022-23 school year

Contact Tracing 

  • Is no longer required. 

Isolation/Quarantine 

  • Isolation: A positive COVID test result requires a 5 day isolation period (Day 0 is first  date of symptoms or if no symptoms, the date of positive test result).
  • Quarantine: No longer required (after exposure to positive case).

Masking 

  • Masks are not required to be worn in school. 
  • Students, Staff, and Visitors may choose to wear masks. 
  • Individuals returning to school after a positive test result and spending Days 0-5 in  isolation, should wear a mask in school and indoor spaces for days 6-10. 

Physical Distancing 

  • No longer required. 

Symptomatic Students 

  • Will be sent home and should not return to school until their symptoms are resolving  and they are fever free without medication for at least 24 hours. 
  • COVID testing is recommended, but not required. 

Testing 

  • Unvaccinated staff are no longer required to be screened. 
  • COVID test kits are available for students and staff.
