Nineteen of Glens Falls’ student-musicians had the honor of performing in the 2022 All-County Chorus Festival this weekend. The Festival highlights the achievements of vocalists from Saratoga and Warren counties in grades 5-12.

Singing in the Grade 5/6 Chorus were Liam Quartiers, Jack Reed, and Jack Rougeau.

Singing in the Grade 7-9 Mixed Chorus were Selena Caldwell, TJ Jacob Carusone, Levie Creeden, Isabella Dalaba, Elli Eason, Rhiannon Kaye, Payton LaPointe, Mattea Rice, Hanna Martinez, Macklin McGrath, Emma Nzambi, and Aubrei Rowden.

Performing in the Grades 9-12 Treble Chorus were Sophia Plante and Lauren Weil.

Singing in the Grade 10-12 Mixed Chorus were Schuyler Quartiers and Natalia Steves.

The two-day festival allows students to participate in one of the four ensembles during two rehearsals and a culminating concert. Students are recommended for all-county chorus by their teachers, and selected by committee. NYSSMA Solo Festival scores are often a significant factor in selection. Students prepared their music over the past several weeks with middle school choral teacher Meredith Reed, who helped advise each of the vocalists. Bravo, students!
