Top Ten Celebrated at Family Breakfast

We began celebrating our Top Ten students of the Class of 2025 with a breakfast for families on April 3rd. Board President Matt Levin celebrated the students not just for their grades—but for the effort, the resilience, and the perseverance it took to get here. Mr. Levin also noted the special qualities of GF Nation: a community that truly cares for one another.

“This achievement etches each of you in the tapestry of people that make up our hometown,” Mr. Levin said. “Because in a town like ours… YOUR success is OUR success. It’s about the teachers and coaches who show up early and stayed late, year after year, to help students like you reach your potential. It’s about the neighbors who celebrate your success as if it were their own. It’s about a heritage that reminds us that no matter how far you go—Glens Falls will always be home. My hope is that your time at the Glens Falls City School District has been the perfect launchpad for a future filled with learning, purpose, curiosity and joy.” 

Principal Kevin Warren echoed those sentiments.

“Today, we honor something remarkable—the collective brilliance in this room,” said Principal Kevin Warren. “Every one of you has worked tirelessly to reach this milestone. You have made sacrifices, stayed up late, pushed yourselves, and balanced numerous commitments—all in pursuit of excellence. Behind each of you stands a family that has supported, encouraged, and believed in you every step of the way. We celebrate your academic success, but your brilliance extends beyond the classroom. It is found in your leadership, athleticism, creativity, dedication to service, and unwavering pursuit of knowledge. Whether on the field, the stage, the lab, or in your community, you continue to inspire those around you.”
