Spotlight on Excellence: CASDA Recognizes GFHS Student and Teacher

Congratulations to senior Tevyn Owira and HS teacher Rachelle Stewart for being honored in CASDA’s “Students and Teachers Who Make a Difference” regional recognition! Tevyn is a multi-sport athlete, president of National Honor Society, and has played clarinet in the symphonic band throughout high school. He’s also an AP Scholar and earned the NYS Seal of Biliteracy in French. Tevyn then nominated Mrs. Stewart by writing, “Mrs. Stewart’s influence on me and others is substantial. Whether it was pushing me past my comfort zone or helping myself and others plan for our future, she has always and will continue to be a difference maker in Glens Falls High School.
