Glens Falls City School District is pleased to welcome Ms. Trishia Ten Eyck as the next Principal of Kensington Road Elementary School, after she was appointed by the Board of Education on Monday, May 11. She will begin her new role on July 1st.

Ms. Ten Eyck is currently an elementary principal in Granville Central School District, and was previously a health and physical education teacher in Hudson Falls and Fort Edward. She holds her School Building Leadership Certification from SUNY Plattsburgh, and a Master's degree in Physical Education from Canisius College.

“Trishia brings valuable experience in elementary school leadership and a strong focus on supporting student growth and achievement,” said Superintendent Dr. Krislynn Dengler. “Her collaborative approach, dedication to fostering meaningful connections, and commitment to creating a supportive learning environment will be a tremendous asset to the KRS school community.”

“I am excited and truly honored to be named the next Principal of Kensington Road Elementary School,” says Ms. Ten Eyck. “I look forward to becoming immersed in the GF Nation community and getting to know the incredible staff, students, and families that make Kensington such a special place. As an educator and school leader, I strongly believe in building positive relationships, creating a supportive and welcoming school environment, and always keeping students at the center of every decision. I am eager to collaborate with staff and families to continue the great work already taking place at Kensington while helping every student feel valued, supported, and successful. I cannot wait to get started, listen, learn, and become part of the Kensington community.”

Teachers, parents, administrators, and board members all participated in selecting Ms. Ten Eyck for the position. We welcome her into GF Nation, and into our shared commitment to cultivate a dynamic and inclusive school community focused on the success of all students.
